AMAC Consultants Inc. (“AMAC”) has earned a sterling reputation for integrity, knowledge, contacts and the ability to get things done.

AMAC was co-founded in 1996 by a former president and CEO of major insurance companies who had served on boards of all the industry’s major trade and technical associations and a senior merger and acquisition specialist. They saw an opportunity as very few Canadian consultants were providing the specialized services in Mergers and Acquisitions and Executive Search that AMAC now provides to its existing national client base.

AMAC has stayed with its core business and added additional expertise to its ownership team including a former brokerage owner and past president of the Insurance Brokers Association of B.C. who, as a director and chair in the credit union system, also served as a director of a major national insurance company.

Through M&A Realty Inc. (“M&A”), a firm owned by AMAC’s principals, AMAC represents vendors who wish to take advantage of opportune market timing and purchasers who seek to expand their businesses.

During the last 12 years AMAC has handled projects running the gamut from the acquisition or sale of some of the largest insurance brokers in the country to the recruitment of many Presidents and CEO/COOs for major insurers and brokers.  Additional consulting services are provided for business evaluations, expert opinions, seminars and succession planning.

The firm’s current senior consulting staff have all been very active in industry affairs for many years and have a very wide and deep national network of property and casualty insurance industry contacts at all levels.
